I bought a box of prepared taco shells at the store. Different from the kind shown in the photos provided by Simply Delicious, but they got the job done. ??
My avocados weren’t ready yet, so I prepared my own version of tacos. Mine came out a little different from the Simply Delicious recipe.
I was out of taco seasoning, so I made my own from other spices in the cabinet that Jamie assured me would work. The ingredients totally worked out so I’m going to give her a big round of applause here! ???????
The meat is sizzling in the pan and I put some chili seasoning, cumin, and oregano onto the meat. Eventually I hit it with a little hot sauce and it tasted exactly like a taco seasoning packet!
The taco shells fit in the toaster oven, but only with the rack on the bottom. These flat-bottomed shells stand up all on their own!
Here’s the taco bar I created, minus the lactose-free sour cream.
Make them up ?”Taco Bell Style”?:: ground beef, lettuce, shredded cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, and a dash of hot sauce. ??
